A UK natural cleaning brand with the right product — and big ambitions

Purdy & Figg makes natural, eco-conscious cleaning products. They had genuine product-market fit, strong creative instincts, and an operations team that could handle scale. What they needed was a growth engine that could take them from a small brand to a household name — fast.

The partnership began in late 2021 when Purdy & Figg had generated £452,000 in annual revenue. By 2024, annual sales had exploded to £50 million.

Scaling without burning cash on acquisition

The challenge wasn't awareness — it was efficient, sustainable scale. Throwing budget at paid ads without the right creative infrastructure just drives up customer acquisition costs. The goal was to grow quickly while keeping CAC at levels that made the business financially viable long-term.

Influencer seeding that fuels the ad account

Phase one — micro-influencer seeding

We built a systematic influencer seeding programme targeting micro-influencers in health, wellness, and home care niches. Products went out to creators who genuinely aligned with the brand. Their authentic content became the creative fuel for paid campaigns — real people, real homes, real results.

This approach generated a 61% reduction in CAC while simultaneously scaling ad spend by 586% and driving a 772% increase in new customer revenue.

Meta advertising at scale

We ran a 60/40 creative split — 60% of budget behind proven top-performing creative, 40% testing new formats and angles. Every two weeks, we audited which creative was capturing 80% of spend, cutting what wasn't working and reinforcing what was. No guesswork, no wasted budget.

Meta Advantage Shopping Campaigns (ASC) provided cost control at scale, allowing spend to flex during key product launches without sacrificing efficiency.

April 2024

Purdy & Figg ranked #9 on the Sunday Times list of the UK's 100 fastest-growing private companies. Annual revenue hits £50M.

I've worked with a lot of agencies and this has been without a doubt the best I have found. Efficient processes, great communication, really wonderful people — and most importantly they back it up with elite performance.
